THE LIVING PATTERN OF YOUR UNION WITH GOD IS THE TRINITY

Jesus Christ’s Plan to draw all things together in Himself is the heart of the Kingdom because it is the nature of God – meaning the nature of the trinity.
NO WILD-GOOSE CHASE
Theologies that make the law the central issue of salvation and Kingdom life are both a cul-de-sac and a depersonalisation of God and His people. They are a lie that has been formed in them from mis-knowledge of God called the knowledge of good and evil. Such fables produce separation between God and His people because they are promote abstractions as life when Paul tells us plainly that the spirit is life and the letter is death.
You will grow better in a community that is fully Christian than in one that is only partially so.
The Spirit, personally called the One Spirit by Paul unites the diversity of humanity and creation in its origin and destination: the alpha and omega that is Christ our life and Christ our belonging in God. This is oneness with God and the key to oneness with each other.
MEANING OF LIFE
The meaning of life is not found in a great controversy between good and evil. The meaning of life is experienced and known as we are drawn into oneness with the trinity – drawn into their perichoresis of being part of each other yet entirely themselves. The plan of Jesus Christ and the enterprise of God on account of the atonement and incarnation, is to draw us and all creation into the oneness of God. The superlative grace of God in operation and as the Grace in person is to recreate us as we really are even when in our present state we are not who we are. But we are sons and becoming sons with increasing glory.
Since we are born of God, and God is love and love is trinitarian, it would be unusual if the archetype of trinitarian being was not the fundamental pattern of our union with God. And it is. Christ came in the flesh to draw us back into Godself and in doing so make sure and certain our reason for being – sons and daughters in whom God delights to share the joy of life. This is the new covenant in Christ.
NOT THE LAW
“One of Torrance’s most valuable and wide-ranging insights was that the doctrine of the Trinity, when rightly understood, was the ‘ground and grammar’ of theology. It constrains theologians to think from a centre in God provided in the incarnation, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension of the Lord who is coming again to complete the redemption. Any attempt to think from a centre in ourselves simply misses the fact that we have already been justified and sanctified in the person and work of Jesus Christ, the One Mediator.” (1) This is why legalism is a heresy and the notion of your taking steps to Christ is a lie.
A righteous response to the Gift of Christ our life is to live in thia inheritance without adding or subtracting from it.
